Please note damages are not specified indetail only in overall damage either as Cat 1, Cat 2 or Cat 3 and casualty worktops are sold as is, more on damage Grading below.
CAT 1
Many of the tops are simply returned without wrapping. Sold AS IS - No wrapping, slight scuffing, perhaps some foot prints possible end splinters could be made good as new with a fresh sand.
CAT 2
As above with slightly more scuffs and small end or edge splintering, perhaps some marks on one side
Sanding and some planeing could restore most of these tops as new.
CAT 3
As above but with more end or edge damage, indentations, slight flaws, chips etc
Sanding, planeing and perhaps some wax wood filler could represent these tops as new.
During our inspection of each individual piece we didn't see any Worktop that could not clean up nicely as a real bargain top.
