Iroko hardwood timber is also known as African Teak because of its grain and colour that is very similar to teak. Attributes of Iroko hardwood worktops: Iroko timber is very hard, resists water well, has dense graining and a high oil content. It also has great antibacterial properties, similar to teak but much more cost effective.
