Our European Oak Kitchen worktops come from sustainable sources. In fact European forestry policy is that Oak trees are not harvested until they exceed 150yrs of age and that a replacement tree half its age is in place. This differs vastly from US, Canadian or Chinese Oaks, which are cut down from only 20 years of age. Of course the density and hardness of these oaks are much less that of their European counterparts.
You can be assured that your worktops oak will be top quality, sanded to 150 grit, flat edged, finished to perfection and ready to cut and fit. Simply Danish Oil your Kitchen worktop to your own satisfaction (Min 3 coats), cut to size and install.

Oak kitchen worktops have a classic medium shade look with a beautiful sweeping grain that will look magnificent in any home setting.
Oak worktops bring the assurance that regardless of how busy your home is or how tough you are on it, your Oak worktop will be there in all its splendor for many years to come.
We only sell the highest quality "FAS" grade Oak worktops as set forth in the International Wood Products Association Hardwood Grading Guide.
Always ask about the source and grade! Some purveyors will construct finger-jointed worktops from inferior grades and list them as "top quality." They're not inexpensive, they're cheap and will tend to warp, crack and separate over time.
All prices include VAT. Worktops are supplied in a blond state sanded to 150 grit ready to be oiled, cut and installed.
We recommend that you add 1 bottle of Danish Oil per length of worktop. This would be enough for 3-5 coats and don't forget your upstands for that perfect rounding off of your new worktop.
