Apollo Solid Surface

Apollo solid surface is a 6mm thick solid surface applied and bonded to 35mm chipboard and laminate balancer to underside.

Impact resistant- is equally as good as 13mm solid surface on an MFD subframe.

Sinks

Apollo solid surface sinks are available in white.

Installed by you

No templating means a saving in time and cost. Due to its acrylic based composition 1mm per meter- to avoid the material craking, the worksurfaces are not tightly installed to allow for this movement.

A fine layer of dust is enevitable for 24 hours after installation.

We have a fully qualified and vastky expierienced installation teams throughout the UK to provide you with an excellent fitting service, if required.

Cut-outs

A minimum of 130mm is required between two hob cut outs .A minimum of 80mm is required between hob and sink cut-outs. .A minimum of 50mm is required between two sink cut-outs. .Sink cut-outs are placed from the worktop front edge.

Points to note

Hob flange needs to sit on aluminium thermal insulation tape around cut out to avoid conducting too much heat into the Apollo solid surface and causing cracking.

Once installed looks like 13mm solid surface for a fraction of the cost.

For fabricated worktops, we work to your measurements, no templating required.

Can be made in blanks to ajust on site without comprising any of the above - oversize on the joints then trim to suit.

Drainers are only 3mm deep and 10mm wide.

Hot Stuff

Hot pans keep well away- use hot pan platter provided.
